Okay, so I racked my Internets trying to find a good blank silent movie card to use for silent movie titles and came up empty handed. So I just had to create one myself in Illustrator. Here it is to download and use as you wish. If you do use it, credits to me, Farrin N. Abbott or CopyCatFilms, would be very nice but I’m not gonna hire a lawyer to chase you down or nuthin.

Thanks!! I’ve been also ransacking the interwebs (and in all that time I probably could have made my own also) and came up dry. That is, until I found your beauty <3
[...] was going to have to draw it Photoshop. I used Google to get reference and I found that a guy named Farrin N. Abbott of CopyCatFilms had drawn a blank one up for everyone to use. So thanks Farrin for saving me some work. Now I can [...]

Hello, Farrin!!!
I’m an audiovisual student from Brazil… I made a minute and half video along with some of my class colleagues, about human relations… Our problems and our “solutions”… It has a metaphor with knots, strings, black & white (some blue on it) and a silent film look. I discovered your silent movie card on this website and found it amazing… So I adapted it into this video!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXICU7gnOZE (with english subtitles!)
I have to thank you for this… It was a really nice work of yours!!!
Nice job!! I love it! Thanks so much for sharing! Glad my templates could help.
Hi Farrin,
Thanks so much for the awesome title card. We used it in our latest video and it was really above and beyond what we could’ve created otherwise.
Thanks again!

Thank you, you saved me a lot of time.
Thanks bunches for this. Been looking for something like it for a while now.
Farrin, you’re a true benefactor of the internet. Thank you so much!
Just thought I’d send a link to the final product… feel free not to post it if it’s not to your blog’s professionalism standards (content is R-rated. Not X-rated, but a strong R). It does come with a ‘click at your own risk’ wrapper.
Thanks Antipova! Nothing is too much for CopyCatFilms!! Where’s the link? I’d love to see it.
Cheers!
Farrin
thank you so much antipoval!! you just saved me, have to deliver a video today and needed a title card like this asap. once the video is ready I will post the link here and give you the proper credit!

Your title card is beautiful! It worked perfectly in the silent film I made for “B&W Chocolate Seduction Martinis”. Thank you for making it accessible!

Thanks for the silent movie cards! Great work.
SHAKE THEM DREDS!!
I had a real quick question, how were you able to add that effect on the template to give it that old movie effect?? Was it just effect you had on your program? I’ve been searching everywhere.
Hello!
I used your template for a class project in my Field Production class and it helped me immensely.
Thank you very much.

Thanks. Just what I needed. Used in an art gallery piece.
Nice! Glad to hear it.
These templates were exactly what I was looking for! I’m not a real designer, but I play one on the internet, so having some great resources like this to make my work look better is awesome! I tweaked them just a bit to create a “Silent Era” Back to the Future video, which I linked back to you as credit for the great title cards.
